Cape Town on Friday 1st Stop

After having a great breakfast at the hotel, we were ready to start our day that was crammed full of activities.  Our first stop of the day was at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The gardens were built on the lower part of a mountain so we were heading either uphill or downhill. As you can tell it was a very sunny day so we had to stop frequently to put more sunscreen and get some water.

An attempt at a family photo with the timer on the camera.

This looks flat in the picture, but it really was uphill.
We thought these trees were really awesome.

Trying not to get soaked by the sprinkler.
This is the branch of a tree. Thought it looked neat.
Looking out from the gardens.
Took this picture for one of my best friends, Erica. It was call the Erica Garden!
Oh boy, another uphill path! I sure am glad he nominated himself to push the stroller through the gardens!
Found this turtle just roaming around.

Jayce enjoyed the gardens.

This is water that they use in the gardens.

We stopped at this bench for a while to just take in the view.

Once the sun got high in the sky, we were ready to head to our next location for the day.  Next stop the aquarium.
